Mirko and Manolo are two high-schoolers from the outskirts of Rome. They live their lives as two
well-to-do guys – until they accidentally kill a man in a night-time hit and run. It’s the beginning of a
relentless spiral down into perdition.
Berlin Internacional Film Festival – “Panorama”
Directing and writing duo Fabio and Damiano D’Innocenzo spent their childhood on the outskirts of
Rome painting, writing poems and taking photographs. Without any formal film-making training,
they have created video clips, films for television and the cinema as well as a theatre play. "Boys Cry"
is their debut feature.
